Applestar yowled, her clan already anticipating her meeting. They flicked their ears to tune in to what she was saying. "Cats of Blizzardclan, we have new cats!" She thought about the mass of apprentices her clan was getting. "Winterpaw, Navypaw, Snowy, Wattlepaw, Vinepaw, Emberpaw, Lightpaw, and Jetpaw!"
"Winterpaw! Step forward!" Winterpaw stepped up, her white fur glowng. "Your mentor will be Flickersilver. May he teach you all he knows." Flickersilver touched noses with his apprentice, and then stepped away.
"Navypaw! Step forward!" Navypaw stepped up, eyes shining. "Navypaw, your mentor will be Snowy." Snowy blinked, and stepped up smiling. He touched noses with his apprentice.
"Jetpaw! Your mentor will be Crystalgaze!" Crystalgaze blinked, and stepped up to touch noses with her apprentice.
"Lightpaw!" Lightpaw stepped up, knowing how it went. "Your mentor will be Brindleflight!" Lightpaw touched noses with her mentor then stepped aside.
"Wattlepaw! Your mentor will be Flameflicker!" Wattlepaw smiled and touched noses with her mentor.
"Lightstep! As my deputy, you are ready for an apprentice! Vinepaw will be your apprentice!" The two cats touch noses, each ones eyes sparkling, then step away.
"Emberpaw has chosen a differnet path, the one of a medicine cat! I will travel with her to the moonpool tonight to let Starclan accept her choice! That is all!"
(For the Moonpool, I guess well use the starry stream for now!)

Wattlepaw slid a teasing glance over her shoulder at Vinepaw, she may have the deputy but Wattlepaw would get to see the territory first, "Any time!"

Wattlepaws ears flattened in disappointment.

Wattlepaw cuffed her over the ear. Not much could ruin her mood on a day like this.
Vinepaw flicked her tail and padded over to the fresh kill pile. She grabbed a large rabbit and flicked her tail, inviting any other cat to share.
Wattlepaw padded over and lay down beside her sister.
